At Pollen & Petals, we believe art is more than something you make, it's something you feel. We bring unique, hands-on art experiences directly to your event, community, workplace, or special gathering... creating opportunities for people of all ages to slow down, connect, explore their creativity, and leave with something meaningful that they created themselves.
Hi! I am Jodi... one of the owners of Pollen & Petals. For over 26 years, I taught music, guiding students to connect with rhythm, sound, and the joy of creative expression.

My lifelong love for harmony and creativity began when I was very young, but really came to life in college, when simple doodles, became pieces of art, which lead henna temporary tattoos, which then lead to five hand-drawn coloring books filled with calm and inspiration.
Since I have been working with Lisa at the Gallery, "The Emerald Hive", and doing art events together, we realized our passion and vision could work on the move. That lead us to where we are today. A mobile art immersion, where we bring the art event to you.
Lisa is an Akron native and has always had an entrepreneurial spirit. She is over the moon to bring that spirit and her true passion for art and design together with the collaboration of The Emerald Hive.

After obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in Business Communication from Kent State University, Lisa traveled Europe to prepare herself for the real world that awaited her upon her return to the States. Corporate America is where she found her niche, especially in managing people and using her entrepreneurial style to drive performance at a business level.​
Lisas's hobbies include taking old furniture and giving it a makeover, spending time with her two dogs and family, and being outside in the wonders that nature has to offer. She is looking forward to bringing artists and designers together in an effort to promote the arts within our community.
